Offering educational field trips to students has always been a passion for us so a trip to the Pick'n Patch is one of a kind. We hope you and your students will come experience some FUN ON THE FARM for yourselves! We offer two self-guided field trip options.

Fun & Learning Field Trip

Recommended for Pre-School - 2nd grade.

Get ready for a fantastic adventure! Our field trip is just $8 per student, and guess what? Some teachers and chaperones are in for free - one adult free per every 5 students! But don't worry, if you bring more chaperones than that, they can join in on the fun for just $8 as well.

Once you're here, you'll have 2 hours to dive headfirst into the Fields of Fun! And the best part? Your students get to take home a pie pumpkin as a souvenir. It's a self-guided field trip, which means you're the captain of your own adventure ship! We'll give you a warm welcome, and then you're off on your merry way for 2 hours of non-stop excitement. Stick together as a class or let smaller groups explore - we've got something for everyone!

The Fields of Fun includes a kiddie train, barnyard animals, a chicken coop, a super slide, a corn tunnel, a wooden maze, a corn pit, jumping pillows and that's just the beginning! Explore over 15 attractions. The Corn Maze and the Apple Blasters are the only attractions not included in the field trip.

Minimum of 10 students. Please be sure to have your group dress appropriately for the weather, including boots if it’s been rainy.

Corn Maze Field Trip

Recommended for 3rd grade and up.

The primary focus of your trip will be the Corn Maze. It's 8-acres and takes around 45 mins to work your way through. We utilize what we call a "passport" to help navigate through the maze. If you want an additional classroom tie in - you can create your own for students to use during the field trip. It's a sheet of 10 questions. When you come across the number #1 sign in the maze, you read the #1 question and whatever you think is the correct answer gives you a hint of which direction to go. Choose the right answer and you'll head in the right direction, choose the wrong answer and you just might be going in a circle.

We have additional attractions included in the field trip: Barnyard Animals, a Low Ropes Course, a massive hillside slide. We also have a Ball Zone, and Speed Pitch. We have the Barnyard Bouncer jumping pillow - kids will need to take their shoes off to enjoy this attraction, as a note we do not allow flips, cartwheels, or anything that results in kiddos feet being higher than their heads for safety reasons.

The following attractions are not included in this field trip: Kiddie Train, Pumpkin Pad and our Fun House. These students are a little too big for those attractions. And unfortunately the Apple Blasters are not included in field trips.

We typically plan 90 mins for this experience, but this may vary based on group size. Minimum of 10 students. Be sure your students dress appropriately for the weather, including boots if it’s been rainy. Must have a 1:5 chaperone to student ratio.
